The exhibition The Mirror of Time: female beauty through the ages was organized in 2016 by the National Archaeological Institute with Museum at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in collaboration with 15 museums and with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bulgaria. The exposition included more than 170 artifacts that have allowed the reconstruction of the female image through the ages. The theme was also presented in the form of a traveling poster exhibition. It includes 28 posters that trace the evolution of women's fashion in clothing, hairstyles, accessories and appearance care in the lands of present-day Bulgaria from the Early Iron Age (XI - VI centuries BC) to the Late Middle Ages.
